Ben Avery is a licensed English teacher and currently teaches high school English in an Indiana public school. He has been a volunteer children's teacher in his local church for five years. The creator of Zondevan's all ages action/adventure TimeFlyz and Cross Culture's allegorical fantasy ArmorQuest, he is also a co-founder of Community Comics, a publisher/studio dedicated to encouraging Christian artists to worship Christ through the arts. "Community Comics gives me an opportunity to do two things I really enjoy -- create stories and encourage other artists to do the same."
