Gary Shipman

Gary Shipman was born in 1966. His most noted work is on the comic book series Pakkins Land, which brought him nominations in the Eisner, the Harvey, and the Russ Manning Awards. His work has been published through Caliber Press, Image Comics, Alias Comics and self-published under his own imprint, Pakkins Presents. Gary has also worked on several other comic books such as Amazing True Life Stories from Crosswind Publishing and in the development side of several animated projects. His most recent comic contribution is to the Zondervan graphic novel series, Kingdoms, having worked on books four through those yet finished

Gary has been exploring different styles of art for close to thirty years with no formal art training. His work is collected worldwide and can be found on ebay.com and at BoundlessGallery.com. Gary has also served as a youth pastor for two years. He and his lovely wife Rhoda have been married for 19 years and they have three beautiful children: Shoshana, Isaac and Tavita.
